What You'll Actually Learn
We don't promise you'll become wealthy overnight. That's rubbish. But you will understand how money works, which turns out to be surprisingly useful.
The program runs for 24 weeks starting mid-September 2025. Two evening sessions per week, plus homework that takes about 90 minutes. It's structured but flexible — if you miss a class, there's catch-up material.
Week 1-8: Understanding income, expenses, and creating budgets that actually work for your life. Week 9-16: Building emergency funds and exploring different saving approaches. Week 17-24: Investment basics, superannuation, and long-term planning.
Classes are small. Maximum 18 people. You'll work with the same group throughout, which helps because everyone's at different starting points and learning from each other turns out to be half the value.
Materials include workbooks, spreadsheet templates, and access to our online portal where you can track your progress. Everything's designed to be practical rather than theoretical.
Program Structure
Three modules spread across six months. Each builds on the previous one, but they're also useful standalone if you already know some bits.
Money Basics
How to track where your money goes, spot patterns, and make adjustments. We use real bank statements (anonymized) and you'll create your first working budget by week 4.
Building Reserves
Different saving strategies for different goals. Emergency funds, large purchases, planned expenses. You'll set up automated systems that work in the background.
Growth Planning
Investment options explained without jargon. Superannuation optimization. Understanding risk and return. No guarantees about returns — just clear explanations of how things work.
